A visit to the NGR plant is an astonishing experience. Firstly, because Next Generation Recycling GmbH is located in the district of Feldkirchen to the west of the city of Linz in Upper Austria’s scenic Danube valley. And secondly, as upon entering the newly built company facilities, one is faced by two contrasting worlds. On the one hand, that of the finest mechanical engineering, shining steel components, cutter shafts, long extruder screws, gears and complex electrical systems and on the other, stacks of pallets with fabric fibres, large rolls of film and mountains of plastic waste. The latter can create the feel of a plastics production plant, however NGR is not a recycler, but a manufacturer of outstanding plastics recycling machinery.
