PACKAGiNG & PRINT MEDIA:
WHY IT’S THE PUBLICATION OF CHOICE
FOR DISCERNING ADVERTISERS IN THE PACKAGING AND PRINTING INDUSTRIES
There are a many reasons to choose PACKAGiNG & Print
Media as your media partner of choice for marketing and promoting your
business.
First, and foremost, is that the PACKAGiNG & Print Media (P&PM)
team is absolutely committed and passionate about producing the only cutting-edge
print and packaging magazine of significance in Africa that serves the
entire packaging value chain though professional publishing principles
to create essential reading for the industry.
To do this the P&PM team ensures quality in every respect. Aside from
the obvious quality in terms of layout and design, and the high-quality
paper and printing, the P&PM team consists of some of the world’s
top packaging editors who know and understand packaging and printing technology.
They are seasoned journalists with many years’ experience in the
field and are highly respected in the global packaging and printing industries.
The result is a magazine that is read from cover to cover – this
is not simply our claim, it’s a fact confirmed time and time again
by our readers. This is not a magazine consisting primarily of irrelevant
press releases published without any consideration or knowledge of their
context. It is a magazine focused by two words that guide its editorial
policy: ‘context’ and ‘relevance’. With P&PM
you always receive a dedicated, committed, personal and customised service.
We’re here for you.
It is these key elements that create a world-class publication that is
of paramount importance to our discerning advertisers who know they are
judged by the company they keep. If a magazine is interesting, relevant
and trustworthy, advertisers are viewed as equally reliable and authoritative.
As important for advertisers is a magazine’s circulation database
... which in P&PM’s case is refined on a daily basis by a dedicated
circulation manager. Having said that, we realise that the people with
intimate industry knowledge need to supervise this critical publishing
aspect – thus in this publishing house the editors and business
managers are intimately and constantly involved in the accuracy and reach
of the database. Few other publishing houses can make this claim.
For P&PM’s advertisers this means they can rest assured that
they’re reaching their precise target market.

Southern Africa, as well as packaging line managers/packaging specifiers
and buyers at all FMCG companies throughout Southern Africa. The journal’s

WHY P&PM DOESN’T CUT AD RATES:
P&PM’s advertising rates are carefully, and competitively, set
at a realistic level below which we cannot publish a journal of this quality.
To cut rates below cost would mean that the demise of the business would
soon follow. We want to stay in business, not only for our own sakes,
but also for the industry’s sake. We’re passionate about this
industry and believe it deserves a reliable and respected journal to serve
its needs.
